Turning the Tide on Sustainability
Not just a word, but the essence of all that we are, sustainability is at the very heart of everything we do. For some, it’s an after-thought, but our entire ethos has been structured around making a positive change in the world and giving to those in dire need of help.
It’s no secret, we want to change the conversation, the common perspective and, hopefully, the world.
Our independent swimwear label is made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon fibre from fishnets and other nylon waste. Not only does this eco-friendly swimwear help reduce waste and landfill, but it also helps save the lives of animals we share the oceans with.
Our swimwear is:
- Environmentally Friendly: The ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made from pre and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets from the oceans and aquaculture, fabric scraps from mills, old carpets destined for landfills and other nylon waste. ECONYL® regenerated nylon performs like standard nylon and can be recycled indefinitely.
Ethically Made: All partners/suppliers are ethical, use environmentally friendly materials and, where possible, offer more sustainable business practices. Our packaging, hang tags, and hygiene stickers are all made from recycled materials
Carbon Conscious: We work with a carbon neutral shipping company and use more environmentally friendly printing machines for labels, recycled wrapping and compostable shipping bags.
- Mindful Design: We design our bikinis and one-piece swimwear based on classic wardrobe staples that will withstand trends. They are adjustable and/or reversible so you can maximise your use.
- Socially Just: We recognise the value of water and donate 5% of every purchase to Water is Life.
Our love of the ocean will be shared with others by providing local communities around the world who do not have access to fresh clean drinking water.
This is our purpose and our priority. The social responsibility of our business is not a novelty and we hope that every time you buy a product from us, you feel safe in the knowledge that you’re doing your part to give back to the planet.
Try a fresh perspective and join ‘For the Dreamers’ in reducing waste and providing access to fresh drinking water around the world today.
